A client experience worth your fee

Your clients hired a premium firm — then got status updates by scattered email. Workroom gives them one elegant portal for selections, approvals, and progress, while your team's questions and vendor coordination stay organized behind the scenes.

2–3×
faster client approvals when selections are one click, not a thread
100%
of approvals timestamped and on the record
0
"any updates?" emails once clients can see progress themselves
1
place client history lives — not five inboxes

Every conversation, attached to the thing it's about

Selections & approvals

Clients review products with images and pricing, approve or decline, and leave comments — all timestamped and on the record.

Floor plan integration

Connect selections to floor plans so clients see each piece in context, not as a disconnected list.

Progress clients can see

Share timeline and milestone updates from the project itself — the "any updates?" emails stop arriving.

Team communications

Internal questions stay internal, attached to the spec or task they're about. New team members inherit the full context.

Vendor coordination

Keep vendor conversations tied to the PO, so "did they confirm the finish?" has one answer in one place.

A record that protects you

When scope questions come up months later, the approval trail is right there — with dates, prices, and signatures.

One record, two experiences

Your team's view. Your client's view. Same record.

Nothing gets retyped between what your team manages and what your client sees — costs, margins, and vendor names just never cross that line. Shared client context means any designer can pick up any conversation instantly, and coverage doesn't collapse when someone's out.

"Clients tell us the portal feels like part of the service. It reads as 'this firm has it together' — because now we do."

Questions we hear

Client collaboration, specifically answered

Do clients need to create accounts or learn software?

They click a link from their email and land in the portal — no training, works on any device. If a client insists on email, you can still record their approval manually so the record stays complete.

Can we control exactly what clients see?

Yes, per item and per document. Costs, markups, vendor names, and internal notes are never client-visible. You choose what to share and when.

What happens when a client approves something?

The approval is timestamped with the item, price, and any comments; your team gets notified; and the item becomes PO-ready. Declines and comments route back to the assigned designer.

Does this replace our email entirely?

No — it replaces the parts email is bad at: decisions, approvals, and status. Relationship conversations stay wherever you like; the record of what was decided lives in Workroom.
