Refund Policy
There is no free trial, because a trial would only show you an empty system. The refund window opens the day your studio goes live.

We're sorry to see you go! You're always welcome back if you change your mind down the road.
The 30-Day Go-Live Guarantee (Pro and Concierge)
We don't offer a free trial, and we do that on purpose; a trial would only show you an empty system. Instead, every Pro and Concierge studio is set up by a specialist with your real accounts, vendors, and projects in it, and the refund window opens the day that setup is done, not the day you sign up.
- The window opens at go-live, not at purchase.
- If it isn't right for you within 30 days of go-live, cancel for a full refund of your subscription fee.
- This applies whether you're billed monthly or annually.
- The guarantee covers the subscription only. The one-time go-live/migration fee is not refundable once paid (see "Go-Live and Migration Fees" below).
- To qualify, you need to have made a reasonable effort to use the Platform as intended: completing onboarding, uploading your projects, and following the setup steps provided by your specialist. The guarantee is for studios who gave Workroom a real run and it wasn't the right fit, not for accounts that never got set up.
- Once the 30-day window closes, standard cancellation and renewal terms apply (see below).
LITE Plans — First 14 Days
LITE doesn't include a specialist go-live, so there's no go-live date to anchor a guarantee to. Instead, the window starts at your first charge:
- Cancel within 14 calendar days of your first charge (including day 14) → full refund.
- Cancel after day 14 → no refund for that billing cycle.
Annual Plans (After Your Refund Window)
Annual plans are billed as a full-year commitment upfront. Once your applicable refund window has closed (30 days from go-live on Pro/Concierge, or 14 days from first charge on LITE), annual plans are non-refundable for the remainder of the current term. You can cancel or switch plans at your next renewal so you're not charged again, but there's no partial refund for time already paid on the current term.
Existing Subscriptions (Monthly or Annual)
Once you're past your applicable refund window, there are no refunds on any renewal, monthly or annual. If you cancel, your account stays active through the end of your current billing cycle; you won't be charged again after that, and access ends when the cycle closes.
Switching Plans
Upgrading or downgrading moves your account to our current plan structure and pricing. There's no refund for the switch itself, and legacy ("grandfathered") pricing ends once you change plans or if a payment lapses; there are no exceptions to this for grandfathered accounts.
Go-Live and Migration Fees
Go-live setup (including migration tiers, additional-project fees, and self-serve CSV import) is billed separately from your subscription and is a one-time charge for work performed on your account. These fees are non-refundable once paid, including if you cancel during the 30-day subscription guarantee window.
Lifetime License Accounts
Lifetime license accounts aren't affected by future price or policy changes, and aren't eligible for a refund, consistent with the Lifetime License section of our Terms of Use.
Taxes
All fees are exclusive of taxes, levies, and duties. You're responsible for any taxes tied to your subscription.
If You Have a Signed Agreement With Different Terms
If you've signed an individually negotiated Order Form, enterprise agreement, or other written contract with Workroom that includes its own refund, cancellation, or dispute terms, those specific terms control over this general Refund Policy for that account.
Billing Errors vs. Change of Mind
This policy covers refunds for cancellations and changes of mind. If you believe you were billed incorrectly (for example, charged the wrong amount or charged twice), that's handled separately: let us know within 60 days of the statement where the error first appeared, per our Master Subscription Agreement, and we'll investigate and correct it. That process doesn't count against, or get limited by, the refund windows described above.
Your Data If You Cancel
After cancellation, you can export your data for 30 days through the Platform or by requesting an export from us. After that window, we'll delete it, consistent with our Master Subscription Agreement and Terms of Use.
