Email that knows
which project it’s about

Workroom Email sorts your inbox by who’s writing, from clients and vendors to contractors and new leads, and keeps the project beside every thread. It’s built and waiting on Google’s security review. Join the waitlist and we’ll tell you the day it switches on.

Workroom Email, Clients lane: threads from Sarah Klein, Olivia Harrington, Priya Anand and Isabel Moreno, each with its project pill, and Walter suggestions such as Draft reply, Record approval and Create task.

Trusted by the studios doing the work

Sorted by who’s writing

Clients first, then everyone else

Every email lands in a lane: clients, leads, vendors, contractors, your team, updates or other. Workroom already knows your contacts, so it knows who’s a client and who’s a vendor. Make your own lanes by sender, domain or project, or switch to a classic single inbox.

The Leads lane: a new inquiry from the studio's website form with Draft reply, and a referral from an existing client with Add as lead.
The project, right there

Every thread knows its project

Every thread carries its project, and Walter reads the email so you don’t have to start from scratch: a one-line summary of what the client is asking, with a reply drafted when you want one. Type @ to put an estimate or an invoice into your reply as the same live card Comms uses, so the client sees where it stands today.

  • Mention estimates, invoices and products by name
  • Records your client shouldn’t see are never offered when they’re on the email
  • Turn an email into a task or a meeting

A client email in Workroom: the Klein Residence project pill, Walter's summary of Sarah Klein's two questions with Draft reply, and her message about the sectional's fabric.
One inbox, the whole studio

Talk about an email without forwarding it

Leave a note for a teammate right on the thread, assign it to whoever should answer, and see when someone else is already replying. The client only ever sees the reply.

  • Team comments that never reach the client
  • Assign a thread and it moves to their list
  • A warning when someone else is already typing a reply
The bottom of a client thread: Reply, Reply all, Forward and Draft reply, and a comment box for the team that is visible only to the studio.

Questions we hear

Workroom Email, specifically answered

When will Workroom Email be available?

It’s built and waiting on Google’s security review. We’ll switch it on as soon as it clears, and people on the waitlist hear first. You can follow it on the roadmap.

Does it work with Gmail and Google Workspace?

Yes. It connects to your Google mailbox, so your email address, your history and your mail stay where they are. Workroom adds the lanes, the project context and the team tools on top.

Is it an add-on?

Yes. Workroom Email is one of the add-ons on the pricing page.

Will my clients see team comments?

Never. Team notes and assignments stay inside Workroom. Your client only ever receives the reply you send.

How is this different from Comms?

Comms is where clients approve, sign and pay inside the project. Email is for everything that still arrives as email, now sorted and tied to the same projects.
