Workroom feature

A dashboard that changes with the person looking at it

Give principals, design directors, operations, finance, and business development a relevant view of the same connected studio.

Trusted by the studios doing the work

ART DIRECTIONProduct mockup + interior-design context

Role-aware dashboard showing priorities, leads, project health, cash, workload, and alerts. Create five selectable role tabs; use current Workroom UI patterns without inventing unbuilt widgets.

What this changes
01

Start with the role, not a generic grid

The information stays useful because it remains attached to the people, project, and financial context around it.

02

Bring leads and active work into one operating view

The information stays useful because it remains attached to the people, project, and financial context around it.

03

Let every tile lead back to the source record

The information stays useful because it remains attached to the people, project, and financial context around it.

The connected record

One update should not create five cleanup tasks

This capability connects with CRM, projects, time, products, billing, and reporting. The final visual should demonstrate how a change propagates instead of presenting the feature as a standalone tool.

The digest that means you can stop opening the dashboard

A dashboard only works for people who remember to look at it. The week a project goes sideways is exactly the week nobody has time to check, which is when a silent overdue invoice or an unapproved estimate does the most damage.

Recap pushes it instead. Walter writes a short summary from real system activity — hours logged, invoices owing, estimates the client has not acted on, purchase orders that moved — and sends it on your schedule. A separate client version goes out per project, and any project can opt out.

  • Daily or weekly, at a time you choose
  • Nine sections you can each turn off
  • A friendlier client version, per project
  • Notifications tuned per event and per channel
