Your margins are a trade secret. We treat them like one.
Your Workroom account holds client lists, markups, vendor pricing, and your firm's entire financial picture. Protecting it isn't a feature — it's the baseline the rest of the product stands on.
Encrypted, everywhere
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Client and financial records never travel or sit in the clear.
Role-based access
Designers see specs and tasks; bookkeeping sees financials; clients see only what you share. Least-privilege by design.
Payments, handled properly
Card and ACH payments run through PCI-compliant payment processors. Card numbers never touch Workroom's servers.
Backups, daily
Automated daily backups with point-in-time recovery. A bad day at your firm shouldn't become a data-loss day.
Your data is portable
Export your projects, products, and financial records whenever you want. We keep customers with product, not lock-in.
Clear data agreements
Your firm's data belongs to your firm. We don't sell it, mine it for a marketplace, or market to your clients. Ever.
Security questions firms actually ask
Can my bookkeeper see projects without editing them?
Yes — roles control both visibility and editing. A common setup: designers edit their projects, ops edits POs everywhere, finance has read access to everything plus edit rights on billing.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
You can export everything before you go, and we retain your account data for a grace period in case you return — then it's deleted on request. Leaving should be safe; that's what makes staying a choice.
Do you use our data to train AI?
The AI analysis reads your firm's numbers to serve your firm's account. Your data isn't used to train models for other customers, and it's never shared across accounts.
Can clients see our markups?
No. Client-facing views show client pricing only. Cost, markup, and margin are internal fields, visible only to roles you authorize.
Who do we contact about a security concern?
Email hello@myworkroom.co with "Security" in the subject line and it routes to the engineering team directly. We take reports from customers and researchers seriously and respond quickly.
